THE MOOSE
It was just a few short years ago
When I joined a lodge of Moose
Since then I've cherished the finer things
Like honor, brotherhood and truth
I have learned what it means to stick together
When things are going rough
With the help of all the members
Problems don't seem near as tough
I've seen the smile upon the face
Of a child that's so sincere
My heart beats fast as I hear them say
I'm so very glad you're here
A child who is otherwise helpless
Thanks to us they have a new start
Now I will never wonder anymore
Why that city is called Mooseheart
And let's not forget the seniors
Who have taught us things so dear
We've a place for them in Florida
To live out their golden years
The wonderful people that I have met
Have welcomed me without remorse
They say that they are very glad
That I've chosen to trek this course
The Moose sees that all the needs are met
Of both friend and family
That's why I'm proud, so very proud
To be part of the Moose fraternity
